A Toeflex™️ reconstructed nail has a strong, but flexible, structure providing a comfortable solution to both the visual and emotional aspects of disfigured or missing toenails. Hypo-allergenic, and just like a biological nail, it can be trimmed, filed and painted, or left natural with a matte finish.

Toeflex™️ is suitable for anyone 16 or over, male or female, looking for a cosmetic enhancement for their toes OR to prevent further trauma by shielding a damaged nail.

Nail reconstructions are suitable for:-

• Fungal infected nails - before treatment

• Permanently cracked/split nails

• Permanently uneven, or disfigured nails - due to accidental trauma

• Stunted nail growth

• Damaged nails - following nail surgery

FULL RECONSTRUCTIONS can be created for the above nail conditions providing there is 50% length + full width of the natural nail present. This amount of nail is required for a secure attachment. Full Reconstructions may be created with less nail, however there is a risk of premature detachment. The higher percentage of natural nail, the longer the reconstruction will last; however your nail/skin condition and lifestyle also play an important part.

PROSTHETIC CONSTRUCTIONS can be created with less than 25% or no nail present.

The process and visual effect is the same as a full reconstruction however, a NEW prosthetic will only stay in place for a short period of time (approx. 12hrs – 4 days). This is due to adhesion failure caused by natural oils in the skin. Prosthetics may be reattached, as and when required, with skin adhesive or tape.

Whilst a prosthetic nail may only be temporary it does give that after ‘perfect 10’ for any special occasion.

It is advisable to have FULL RECONSTRUCTIONS professionally REMOVED EVERY 8 WEEKS. The natural nail can then be cleaned and assessed for a new reconstruction if required. If an issue is detected then the natural nail must be left uncovered, appropriately treated and reassessed for a new reconstruction at a later date.

Nail reconstructions can be a one off treatment or part of an ongoing management plan.
