Meet your MEDI-BLISS Practitioner

Hello, I’m Lynn, the owner and practitioner behind MEDI-BLISS Foot Health & Wellbeing Clinic in Woodseaves, Staffordshire.

My aim is to help you feel comfortable in your feet and at ease in my care. Whether you visit for regular foot care, a particular concern or a relaxing holistic treatment, I want you to feel listened to, understood and welcome.

Getting to know the person behind the appointment is one of the most rewarding parts of my work. It helps me understand what matters to you so that I can provide the care that suits your individual needs.

How I Found My Path into Foot Health

My route into foot health began with something very personal: helping an elderly grandparent who could no longer comfortably care for their own feet. I discovered how rewarding it was to provide gentle care and make a difference to their comfort.

My earlier career had been creative, beginning with fashion and textiles before running my own wedding stationery business. After becoming a mum, I returned to education and, in 2014, established a home-based nail care business.

Working closely with clients, I became increasingly aware that many needed help beyond a traditional pedicure. Remembering my experience with my grandparent, I decided to pursue formal foot health training.

I gained my Foot Health Practitioner diploma and began practising as an FHP in 2023. Since then, I have continued developing MEDI-BLISS around the work I find most fulfilling: helping people care for their feet with confidence.

My Qualifications and My Approach

I hold a Level 3 Diploma in Foot Health Practice and a Level 3 qualification in Reflexology. I am a registered member of the College of Foot Health (MCFH), and a registered member of the Complimentary Medical Association.

Further training has enabled me to offer a range of specialist treatments alongside routine foot care, including nail bracing, nail reconstruction, fungal nail treatments and individually fitted orthotics.

I believe good care begins with listening. I take time to discuss your concerns, explain suitable options and share practical advice to help you look after your feet between appointments.

As the sole practitioner at MEDI-BLISS I will always be the one to take care of you, allowing us to build a familiar, trusting relationship with every passing appointment.

Continuing to Learn

Developing my knowledge is an ongoing part of my work. My clients’ changing needs help shape the training I choose and the services I hope to develop.

Supporting Clients Living with Dementia

I am currently engaged in dementia awareness training to better support clients living with dementia, together with their partners and carers.

My learning focuses on understanding dementia, communicating sensitively, recognising distress and creating a more supportive clinic experience.

This is particularly important to me as I know that familiar routines, patience and understanding can make a meaningful difference to someone who feels uncertain about attending an appointment.

Developing My Diabetic Foot Care Service

I am also planning further training in diabetic foot care, with the aim of developing a more comprehensive assessment service.

This planned development includes additional assessment skills, such as Doppler assessment, once the relevant training has been completed.

My focus is on building my knowledge carefully so that future services are supported by appropriate training and if necessary, clear referral pathways.

As an independent practitioner, this recognition means a great deal to me. I am especially pleased to see my customer service recognised, as the care and attention each client receives is at the very core of my practice.

Behind The Scenes

Outside the clinic, life is busy with five dogs, a demanding garden and a love of coffee, cake & catch-ups with friends.

I also enjoy yoga, meditation and more recently, Tai Chi. My interest in relaxation and wellbeing influences the atmosphere I create at MEDI-BLISS and complements my work as a reflexologist.

Above all, I enjoy meeting people from all walks of life and hearing their stories.

My hope is that, from your first visit, you feel at ease asking questions, confident that your concerns have been heard, reassured and cared for when you leave.
