THE MAVEX CALLUS PEEL TREATMENT is a gentle, effective solution for hard, dry or cracked skin on the feet.

MAVEX® is a premium Swiss foot care brand that offers extremely effective treatments for problematic feet.

The Calluspeel system uses a specialist alkaline-based, keratolytic formula enriched with plant extracts. Keratolytic is the term used to describe how the Keratin Protein bonds, between dead skin cells, are softened to break down layers of hardened callus, safely and gradually. The dead skin can then lifted away without force or blades.

Think of your skin cells as bricks in a wall and the Keratin Protein bonds the mortar. When the mortar has hardened the wall is solid but if the mortar crumbles the wall becomes weak.

Because the formula only targets the layer of hardened skin, the process is both effective and controlled, helping to reveal the underlying, supple skin without discomfort. The addition of botanical ingredients also supports the skin’s natural repair process, helping to heal any deep cracks, improve hydration and overall skin suppleness.

This treatment is ideal if you feel nervous about scalpel work, you are prone to cracked heels, or you simply prefer a different approach to traditional callus removal.

The 6-Step Treatment Experience

1. Cleanse & Prepare - Your feet are gently cleansed and refreshed to prepare the skin. This step cleanses, sanitises, refreshes and moisturises the skin. 

2. Targeted Application - The Mavex elastic fibre patches, soaked with the patented formula, are applied to the areas of hard skin on the feet, typically the heels and balls of the feet.. These foot patches perfectly mould to the structure of the foot, ensuring precise application and full contact with the skin.

3. Softening Phase - Your feet are wrapped with thermal sheets for 15 minutes to keep the patches in place while the formula works to break down the Protein Bonds in the callus.

Gentle Removal – After 15 minutes the patches are removed and the softened skin is carefully removed using a smooth, blunt tool.

Refining the Skin - Any remaining roughness is smoothed away for a silky finish. A single use coarse grit pad polishes the skin as the remaining callus rolls away.

Hydration & Care – The treatment finishes with nourishing Foot Cream and a conditioning Nail Oil  to leaving your feet soft, hydrated and comfortable.
